I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the staff acted like a tourist guide for us, saving us from the tout guides and were courteous and friendly, there was an attempt to trick me with a 'good cop, bad cop' act. The location was both a pro and a con as it was near the main market and just near Harki Pauri, making it convenient for a pilgrimage but also noisy due to the flow very close to the Lodge. The dining was a letdown with poor quality and high charges compared to other hotels in the city.
